Bhansali didn’t contact YRF for taking Sushant in Bajirao Mastani: Aditya Chopra to Mumbai Police during interrogation

New Delhi: The statement of filmmaker Aditya Chopra, of Yash Raj Films, was recorded in connection with the investigation pertaining to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, Mumbai Police said on Saturday.

Mumbai Police questioned filmmaker Aditya Chopra for about four hours in relation to Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

According to sources, Aditya’s statement is contrary to that of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Bhansali had told the police that Sushant was to be cast for Bajirao Mastani film, but at that time SSR was in contract with Yash Raj Films. However, Chopra revealed to the police that Bhansali had not spoken to YRF for taking Sushant in Bajirao Mastani.

As per YRF, Ranveer Singh Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in April 2012 while Sushant had come to YRF contract in November 2012.
