Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak dies by suicide in Mumbai, went LIVE on Facebook before dying
Initially, an accidental death case was registered which was later converted into FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on August 2.
The police have recovered a suicide note.

A suicide note was also recovered wherein Anupama cited two reasons for taking drastic step.
“I invested Rs 10,000 in Wisdom Producer company in Malad on friend’s request. The company was supposed to return my investment after maturity in December 2019. However, it is now dilly-dallying in returning my money.”
She also spoke about a person named Manish Jha who apparently took her two-wheeler during the lockdown in May while she was at her native place and refused to return it to her.

Before taking the extreme step, the Bhojpuri actress went LIVE on Facebook for 10 minutes.
Anupama Pathak said in Hindi, “If you tell someone that you are going through some problems and feel suicidal, that person, no matter how good a friend he or she is, will immediately ask you to keep them away from your problems so that they don`t get into trouble after you die. Also, people will make fun of you and disrespect you in front of others. So never share your problems with anyone and never consider anyone your friend.”
“Be the person whom everybody can trust, but never trust anyone. I have learnt this in my life. People are very selfish and don`t care for others,” she added in the video.
