New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan’s much-anticipated movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has hit the theatres today, that is, May 20. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the movie is a sequel to the 2007 Bhool Bhulaiyaa that starred Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar in the lead. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, this cult comedy stars Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
The audience has been hovering around one question – is the sequel better than Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa? However, by going through the early Twitter reviews, it can be said that the sequel is as good as the original one. Apart from Kartik and Kiara’s performance, netizens notified that loved the performance of Tabu as well.
The movie derives its horror and humour from the legendary Manjulika, who has become stronger over time and has returned to seek vengeance after being locked for over a decade. Talking about Kartik Aaryan’s performance, he spectacularly pulled off his character and was very comfortable when reciting funny punchlines.
Besides, according to the film trade analyst Taran Adarn, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a “winner.” He believes that the film will be able to “end the dry spell” for Bollywood at the box office.
