Big B’s ‘Uunchai’ & Hrithik’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ lock dates for OTT release.. details here

Though, Hrithik Roshan & Saif Ali Khan starrer film didn’t set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office, the trailer of the movie clocked a record 60 million views on the YouTube.

New Delhi: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya made a comeback on the silver screen with another directorial ‘Uunchai’, after a gap of 8 years. The movie was also special because of Rajshri Productions celebrating its 75th year of existence.

The movie, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher & Boman Irani, released in theatres on Nov 11 and was slated to do well at the Box Office. Though, it failed to live upto expectations, the movie will now cater to the audience via digital mode and connect with audience on the OTT platform.

Director Sooraj Barjatya himself announced that the movie will be available for online streaming on Zee5 from January 6 (Friday). He said that the film was a labour of 7 years of hard work and he expected to do it well on digital platform also.

Vikram Vedha’s likely release on Voot Select

Hrithik Roshan starrer Vikram Vedha released in theatres on September 30 and received positive reviews from audience as well as critics. Though, the movie didn’t set the cash registers ringing at the Box Office, the trailer of the movie clocked a record 60 million views on the YouTube.

Reports suggest that the movie has locked its OTT release date and will be available online from next month.

Though, digital release date hasn’t been confirmed officially, there is wide speculation that movie will release on Voot Select & Jio Cinema on January 9.
