
New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone was questioned for 6 hours today by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. Deepika was summoned by the anti-drugs agency, along with actors Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.
The 34-year-old actress appeared before a Special Investigation Team (SIT) at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in connection with an alleged Bollywood drug case.
Padukone and KWAN talent management agency’s Karishma Prakash were interrogated and also confronted with each other on their individual statements in the matter.
Earlier in the day, Deepika Padukone arrived for questioning at the Evelyn Guest House at Apollo Bunder in Colaba, Mumbai, where the Narcotics Control Bureau’s Special Investigation Team has set up a base.

On Friday, the NCB questioned Karishma Prakash and actor Rakul Preet Singh about WhatsApp chats which allegedly proved that marijuana was bought for consumption.
The names of Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor were found in WhatsApp chats on the phone of Jaya Saha, manager of Sushant Singh Rajput and also a top executive of talent firm Kwan.
Karishma was also questioned on Friday and was asked to remain present for further questioning on Saturday.
