Boycott Flipkart trends on Twitter: Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans livid over demeaning late actor

Various screenshots of the wearable went viral on Twitter, with irked users condemning Flipkart for demeaning the actor

New Delhi: E-commercial websites and apps have become an inseparable part of our lives up to an extent that even if a single app or site goes down for a few hours, the glitch alone is enough to cause panic and outrage amongst many.

Promotion tactics of these sites and the products they sell are the key to a longer retailer-customer relationship with users across the globe. However, the product sold can also draw sharp criticism and even financial boycott for these platforms at times due to various reasons.

Previously, we have seen Indian customers calling for a boycott of multinational firm Amazon for selling several products that are dreaming to the nation.

Now in a similar incident, Netizens are further calling for the boycott of Indian e-commercial site Flipkart over selling a t-shirt with a picture of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The t-shirt in question here displays artwork of actor Rajput accompanied by the quote, “Depression like drowning”.

Have a look:

A user named Rudrabha Mukherjee wrote on Twitter along with a pic of the t-shirt, “I will serve notice to @Flipkart tonight (for approving a material which is defaming a deceased) as a common & responsible citizen”.

Various screenshots of the wearable went viral on the microblogging site Twitter, with irked users condemning Flipkart for demeaning the actor and using a dead person for ‘cheap publicity tactics’.
