New Delhi: #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha is trending on Twitter again. Aamir Khan’s new film is trending for the wrong reasons as couple of fans are unhappy with the film’s plot.
Earlier it was asked to boycott Laal Singh Chaddha as people were not liking the fact that Forrest Gump is being remade in Bollywood. Netizens asked the audience to watch the original film rather. There was another incident where the film was asked to be boycotted. Mona Singh has been cast as Aamir’s mother in the film while being 17 years younger than him. People started a conversation about the treatment of women in the film industry and asked for age-appropriate actors to play the characters. It sparked a debate and netizens on both sides argued on Twitter.
