CWC 2023: Anushka Sharma to not cheer for Virat Kohli from the stadium this time?

Anushka, who got married to star cricketer Virat Kohli in 2017, took a long break from her acting career after the birth of her first daughter Vamika in 2021

New Delhi: October is finally here and The ODI Cricket World Cup is back to entertain us after a long gap of 4 years.

The eagerly awaited tournament will kick start today with two arch-rivals New Zealand and England, who also faced each other in CWC 2019’s final, locking horns with each other at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahamadabad. Speaking of India, the men in blue will begin their World Cup journey on 8th June when they will face 5 times World Champions Australia in Chennai’s P Chidambaram stadium.

Will Anushka cheer for Virat?

Actress Anushka Sharma and star cricketer Virat Kohli are one of the most popular couples in the country. Although they enjoy a humongous fan following on social media, they do care about their privacy a lot and have criticized the paparazzi for trying to invade their privacy several times.

From time to time during the big matches, we have also seen Anushka Sharma cheering for her husband from the stands of the stadium. However, this time things might be a little different as fans are unlikely to see the actress supporting Virat from the stands during the multinational tournament.

Anushka Sharma’s pregnancy roumers

With gossip of Virat and Anushka’s pregnancy making rounds all across social media, fans are expecting that the actress might soon announce the good news of her second trimester in the coming days.  The rumours of the couple’s pregnancy were triggered after a video of Ankusha looking pregnant went viral on the internet a few days back. In the viral video, the actress, who was seen sitting in a car, was heard telling the journalist not to come closer to her or click her picture.

Meanwhile, Virat too fueled Virushka’s pregnancy roumers by calling off his training mid-way and flying back to Mumbai due to an unknown personal emergency just days ahead of India’s crucial clash with Australia in CWC.

If the roumers of her pregnancy are indeed true, it is very unlikely that the actress will make a public appearance and give another chance to the paparazzi of invading her privacy. The actress will be well aware of how her first daughter’s pics also leaked on the internet when she visited a stadium to support Virat during a match in South Africa.

However, It is important to note here that neither Anushka nor Virat has spoken anything about their pregnancy so far and whether the couple is indeed in the family way or not is still a matter of speculation.

What’s next for Anushka?

Anushka, who got married to star cricketer Virat Kohli in 2017, took a long break from her acting career after the birth of her first daughter Vamika in 2021. She was last seen as a lead actress on the big screens in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2018 movie Zero but is now gearing up for her comeback after a long gap of 4 years with Prosit Roy’s upcoming movie Chakda Xpress. In the film, Anushka will be seen playing the role of famous Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
