New Delhi: The release date for Vikas Bahl’s directorial venture ‘Ganapath: Part 1’ starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan has been announced. The makers dropped a clip showing Tiger Shroff flaunting his biceps to announce the high-voltage action flick. The film will release in cinemas on October 20 on Dussehra.

The video clip shows a large number of people in blur, raising their hands and chanting. Next, we see Tiger Shroff’s face cut to his arm as he can be heard saying, “I don’t like fights nor the fighters. I am thinking about whom to finish first.” The release date of the film appears on his arm, coming out of his veins.

The film marks the second collaboration between Tiger and Kriti, who made their debut together with ‘Heropanti’ in 2014. On the other hand, superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be making a special appearance in the film.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani said that he cannot wait for the audience to visually experience the ‘dystopian world’ of ‘Ganapath’. He believes that the film will ‘enthral’ the audience with its ‘unique and picturesque’ storytelling.

Last year, Kriti also opened up about collaborating with Tiger in an interview with E-times. The actor said that they took a ‘very long’ time to reunite and next time, they should do it sooner. She added that they both have a soft corner for each as they made their Bollywood debut together. Kriti said that they were like ‘babies’ and have now grown up as actors and also personally. She said that they have great chemistry, some people have watched some footage of the film and loved their chemistry.

The film is produced under the banner of Pooja Entertainment, in association with Good Co and will be released in five languages.
