Get Well Soon Jimin trends at no. 1 on Twitter after BTS’ Jimin undergoes appendicitis surgery

Many BTS fans took to Twitter on Monday to wish a speedy recovery to Jimin under the hashtag of ‘get well soon Jimin’ after he underwent appendicitis surgery.  

New Delhi: Many BTS fans took to Twitter on Monday to wish a speedy recovery to Jimin under the hashtag of ‘get well soon Jimin’ after he underwent appendicitis surgery.  The news was shared by the group’s agency Big Hit Music on Weverse. The agency also informed that Jimin’s report for COVID-19 has also come positive.

Jimin is one of seven members of the South Korea-based boy band, BTS.

Letter by Big Hit Music:

The letter by Big Hit Music stated that Jimin reported ”sudden abdominal pain along with a mild sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon”. The surgery was conducted advice of physicians in today’s early morning.

The agency also confirmed that the surgery of the BTS member was successful quoting medical staff. Furthermore, it said, ”He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with postoperative care. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery.”

As per the statement, no other BTS member has been tested positive for the virus. ”We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the health care authorities,” added Big Hit Music.

As soon as the agency released the statement, netizens have flooded Twitter with comments and wishes for a speedy recovery to Jimin.
