New Delhi: Popular television actor, best known for his role in long running TV drama Balika Vadhu, Siddhart Shukla’s sudden demise on Thursday have left everyone in shock. The 40-year old died as a result of a cardiac arrest, and is survived by his mother Rita Shukla and two sisters.
The winner of TV reality show Bigg Boss 13 was in the best phase of his career, with several Big Screens appearances.

1) Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead, hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Bandra, on June 14, 2020. Beginning his acting career from silver screen and then switching to Bollywood with his debut film ‘Kai Po Che’, Sushant have had an inspirational journey. He was at the top of his career at the time of his sudden death. The actor is best known for his roles in Sonchiriya (2019), MS Dhoni ( 2016), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015).
2) Pratyusha Banerjee
Pratyusha Banerjee who worked along Siddharth Shukla in the television series Balika Vadhu, died on April 1, 2016. Her character ‘Anandi’ became a house hold name among the Indian TV audiences.
She was discovered dead, hanging at her Goregaon home in Mumbai.
3) Jiah Khan
The 18-year-old made a remarkable start in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Nishabd,’ opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan. She later appeared in significant films like Ganjini and Housefull. The actresses was discovered dead in her Juhu residence on June 3, 2013.
4) Divya Bharti
Divya rose to stardom in the 1990s for her roles in films such as ‘Dil Hi To Hai’, ‘Deewana’, and ‘Shola Aur Shabnam,’ among others. The 19 years old fell from the balcony window and died, at her Versova apartment in Mumbai On April 5, 1993.
5) Sanjeev Kumar
A National Award winner actor who played diverse and versatile roles in his 25 years of acting career, died of massive heart attack in 1985, at the age of 48. The actor is best known for his legendary roles as Thakur Baldev Singh in Sholay, Raj Kumar in Trishul, JK in Aandhi among others.
