New Delhi: Aamir Khan also known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ is one of the most talented actors in the film industry. His real name is Mohammad Aamir Hussain Khan and was born on 14th march 1965 in Mumbai. He is also known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ in the film industry for his incredible contribution to the Indian cinema. His father Tahir Hussain was a Film Producer. Aamir was the the eldest of 4 siblings. His family hails from Afghanistan. He appeared in a film ‘Yaadon ki Baarat’ when he was 8 years old in 1973. In one of the interviews he shared how he had a tough childhood because of financial problems as the films produced by his father were mostly unsuccessful. He always faced the risk of being expelled from school due to lack of funds.

He has also worked in many documentaries. He was once noticed by Director Ketan Mehta and he offered him a role in a low budget film ‘Holi’. The film was based on a practice of ragging in India. The film did not performed well at the box office. He later got the offer to work in ‘Qayamat se Qayamat Tak’ opposite Juhi Chawla. The film revolved around the story of love between a young college boy and a girl from a strict family background. The families of the boy and girl had an old enmity and would never allow them to get married. So they decided to elope but unfortunately they were killed by their families.
Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla became an overnight star with the success of the film. The film broke all the records at the box office and was a super hit. The songs of the film also became a rage among the youngsters.
