Khan recently revealed in an interview to ABP News, how he had decided to bid farewell to the film world during the coronavirus pandemic. He told that there came a time in his career during the last two years when he thought of quitting films, as it was affecting his personal life.

He said. “I had told the family that now I neither have to act in films nor produce films and the family was shocked to hear this”.

Aamir told that three months passed and then his children advised him to create balance in life. Mr. Perfectionist said- My children and Kiran stopped me from doing this and said that I am doing wrong.

Kiran became emotional and said that films reside in me. “So a lot happened in two years, I left the industry and came back”, he added.

Aamir Khan, “In the last two years I got a lot of time to think, I did a lot of introspection. At the age of 18, I started working with my uncle as an assistant director. After working for years, at the age of 57, I realized how far I was from family”.

“But good, because if I had realized this at the age of 86, I would not have been able to do anything. For now, I can fix it”, he added.
