New Delhi: Several reports about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s alleged wedding have been going around the internet. According to some reports, Alia and Ranbir, one of the most loved celebrity couples will be tying the knot in April in the RK family house. On the other hand, Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor has reacted to such news.
Talking to Bombay Times, he stated, “I don’t know why people take such liberties with Alia and Ranbir. They are to get married in the RK house? I have heard no such thing. Not that I am aware of.” Besides, Ranbir’s parents – Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor also got married in the RK family house.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been dating each other for quite a while now and often they talk about their relationship status and their delayed wedding. While promoting his late father’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen, Ranbir Kapoor told NDTV, “I won’t give out a date during a media interaction. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon.”
Earlier, Alia Bhatt also told NDTV, “In my head, I am married to Ranbir, in fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time.”
In terms of work, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The movie also casts Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The movie will be releasing in three parts. The first part will be released in September. Besides, Ranbir Kapoor has Shamshera in the pipeline along with Vaani Kapoor. He will also be seen in Animal alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
Alia Bhatt is working for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh. She has Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra and her home productions Darlings in the pipeline.
