New Delhi: Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, arrested over running a Rs 200 crore extortion racket on Friday broke his silence on Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes.
Speaking to reporters, the conman said, “Jacqueline need not worry as I am there to protect her.”
Sukesh made this comments while being taken to Delhi’s Patiala House Court today.
The alleged links between Sukesh Chandrashekhar & Jacqueline made many headlines in last few months, as the actress was questioned repeatedly by the agencies. The actress is understood to have received multiple gifts from the conman. Sleuths questioned the actress about her accepting gifts bought from the proceeds of crime.
The alleged Bollywood-conman connection also made the industry nervous as not just Jacqueline’s name surfaced. Nora Fatehi’s alleged links with the conman also surfaced.
The conman is known to have a penchant for highly expensive & luxurious items. Just a day ago, a video of raid inside his cell surfaced. The raiding prison officials recovered expensive Gucci slippers, expensive jeans from his cell, following which he also broke down and was seen wiping tears with hands.
Sukesh claimed that Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Deepak Sharma was extorting money from him and also accused him of leaking the video which showed raids in side his barrack.
Sukesh also spoke about threats & harassment by jail officials and alleged that jailed Delhi Minister Satyendra Jain was behind it. In the past, he had accused AAP minister of extorting money from him.
