New Delhi: The fresh glimpse of the most anticipated film of the year Kalki 2898 AD is out with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a whole new avataar as ‘Ashwatthama’. Mr Bachchan will be seen playing the role of ‘Ashwatthama’ in the film. The Makers shared the teaser of the film and Big B’s son Abhishek Bachchan also posted his comment after watching the teaser of the film, he wrote “THE BOSS!!!!”

The film stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in lead roles. Director Nag Ashwin shared some updates about the film and said the story of the film revolves around Mahabharata. He said The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not make it look like Blade Runner. The film begins 6000 years behind 2898 AD is 3102 BC, which is when the last avatar of Krishna is believed to have passed.”
Kalki 2898 AD is one of the biggest budget films of the year directed by Nag Ashwin and Vyjayanthi movies.
