New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor Khan, the Bollywood diva and inspiration to several new-bies in the film industry turned 40 today. The actress celebrated the birthday in company of close family and friends at her residence.
Bebo’s sister Karisma shared pictures of the birthday bash held last night and posted warm wishes on former’s birthday.
Sharing the pictures, Karisma Kapoor wrote, “Birthday girl. We love you. #happybirthday (sic).”
The post featured three pictures from the special celebration that see Kareena sporting a comfy look – sporting a Kaftan.
In the first picture, the ‘Good Newwz’ star is seen posing with her birthday cake with a message ‘Fabulous at 40’.
The second one showcases a sweet family picture, featuring father Randhir Kapoor, mom Babita Kapoor, sister Karisma and the birthday girl Kareena.
Third photo shows Kareena posing alongside husband Saif Ali Khan and other family members. The birthday girl cut the cake amid sparkling candles and some beautiful company.

Earlier on Sunday, Kareena Kapoor penned a note for herself and posted on Instagram.
She wrote, “As I enter my 40th year… I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am… Some right, some wrong, some great, some not so… but still, hey BIG 40 make it BIG (sic).”
