KBC 13: Visually impaired contestant Himani Bundela wins Rs.1 crore, goes for the 7crore question

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, premiered on August 23 on Sony TV, has got its first Crorepati in visually impaired contestant Himani Bundela.

In the latest promo dropped by the Sony TV to its official social media handles, Himani Bundela is seen facing the Jackpot question of Rs.7 crores on the show. Himani had previously answered the Rs.1 crore questions correctly, becoming the first crorepati in the ongoing season.

Sony TV shared the promo of Himani Bundela on its Instagram handle with caption, “#KBC13 Mon – Fri, 9 PM Zindadil Himani Bundela apne gyaan aur hausle se bann gayi hain #KBC13 ki pehli crorepati. Par kya woh jeet paayengi 7 crore? Dekhiye unki journey ko #KaunBanegaCrorepati mein, Mon-Fri, raat 9 baje, sirf Sony par. #SawaalJoBhiHoJawaabAapHiHo @amitabhbachchan.”

Nevertheless, the previous season of the KBC had four crorepatis in total, all of them being women.

Himani wishes to use the money for a good cause

Himani hails from Agra and teaches mathematics in school. Himani appeared on the show along with her father who said that their family is very proud to have a daughter like her.

In her introduction video, Himani said that she wanted to be on KBC so that she could expand the awareness programmes that she runs in her school for physically challenged kids.
