New Delhi: After dating for around five years, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to marry in the coming days of April. However, the celebrity couple has no plan for a destination wedding. The wedding ceremony has been decided by the actors and their families to conduct at Ranbir’s house, Vastu, located in Mumbai.

It is reported that they earlier planned to host pre-wedding festivities at Alia’s bungalow, situated in Panvel. The couple had also decided to have a destination wedding in a foreign country. It is usually seen that famous personalities chose wedding venues outside India to avoid the paparazzi and media.
Celebrities like Anushka Sharma with Virat Kohli, and Deepika Padukone with Ranveer Singh chose to marry outside India.
The grand wedding of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is just around the corner. However, the wedding date is yet not confirmed. Earlier, Alia Bhatt’s uncle Robin Bhatt said the Mehendi ceremony is planned for April 13 and the wedding date is April 14.
In the latest development, Alia’s stepbrother, Rahul Bhatt said the couple has decided to change the date due to various reasons. Among the various reasons, security concerns are a major issue.
According to multiple reports, 200 bouncers have been hired for the grand wedding.
In the case of Ranbir and Alia, the COVID-19 pandemic and several other factors also forced the couple to change their wedding destination.
Notably, the preparations are going on in full swing by the duo’s families. It is expected that the official date and venue will be announced soon.
