New Delhi: Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh have been constantly on the target of trolls since featuring in the inaugural episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8.
During the episode, Deepika, who was gracing the couch of Karan Karan-hosted chat show, opened up about the initial days of her relationship with Ranveer while saying that she was in an open relationship with the Simba actor and was seeing a few other men besides him simultaneously.
The actress’ revelation didn’t go well with the netizens who then took to social media and brutally trolled the couple while subjecting them to immense hate and criticism.
Now, the controversial chat show’s host Karan Johar has finally broken his silence on the matter and replied to all the trolls in a sassy manner.
Karan Johar replies to Deepika Padukone’s trolls
In the latest episode of Koffee with Karan that saw Aditya Roy Kapoor & Arjun Kapoor gracing the couch, host Karan Johar spoke about KWK 8’s first episode (featuring Deepika and Ranveer) and said that the episode was probably one of the most entertaining one in the history of the chat show as both Deepika and Ranveer were being genuine and honest with their answers.
He said, “It was one of our best episodes they were outstandingly honest they shared so much they were so gracious but still people are talking nonsense.” The director then went on slamming the trolls and haters while saying that they are no one for judging someone else’ dating & marriage life.

Following that, Karan shocked everyone by angrily showing his middle finger and saying, “Tu apne ghar pe dekh na” This is what I want to say to all the trolls and tell them to shut up.”
Deepika’s open relationship with Ranveer Singh
For the unversed, Deepika Padukone shocked her fans by making an unexpected revelation in Koffee with Karan’s first episode. Recalling the old days of her relationship with Ranveer, she said that both Ranveer and her were in an open relationship which technically permitted them to date or see other people.

The 37-year-old actress then further accepted dating a few other men despite being with Ranveer but also claimed that she was committed to the ‘Gunday’ actor in her mind and always kept coming back to him again and again.
Eventually, in 2015, Ranveer finally took the brave step and proposed to the Pathan actress on Maldives’ private island and they officially turned into a committed couple.
