New Delhi: Comedian Raju Srivastava breathed his last on September 21 after battling between life and death for over 40 days in Delhi’s AIIMS. Celebrities took to social media to mourn his demise. Soon Taapsee Pannu was mobbed by paps on Wednesday and was asked about Raju’s demise. The actress was spotted without any security, brushed aside paps, and didn’t answer. Though a section of netizens felt that hounding her was not right, others thought that responding was inappropriate.
Taapsee gets trolled for reaction to Raju Srivastava’s death
Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21. After celebs like Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan, Kapil Sharma amongst others paid their tribute on social media, Taapsee Pannu was mobbed by paps outside a theatre in Mumbai. When asked about Raju Srivastava’s demise, Taapsee replied, “Kya bolu? Arre bhai saab, aap ek minute, aap ek minute. Aap hatiye, aap aese mat kariye, thoda hatiye, piche hatiye.”

How netizens reacted to Taapsee’s video
Though most trolled Taapsee for not reacting to Raju Srivastava’s death, others felt that paps hounding her were inappropriate. One of the users stated, “Fir Q Jate Ho piche piche Kya Jarurat hai app ko #attiude (sic),” while another user wrote, “Bhai kyu itna bhav dete Ho in lukho ko please band karo so much attitude (sic).”
However, some people also stated that since she was without security, paps shouldn’t have hounded her. A user said, “Stop hounding her like this, you guys are going over the board now (sic),” while another stated, “Where’s her security? Poor girl she’s handling even her security and yet you guys are bombarding her for no reason!!!! (sic).”
Raju suffered brain damage during heart attack
During the heart attack, Raju Srivastava suffered immense brain damage. He was in critical condition and was on ventilator support. He was being treated by the team of AIIMS doctors of the Cardiology and Emergency Department, led by Dr Nitish Nyay. As per the AIIMS sources, Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest while working out in the gym and was brought to the hospital by his trainer. The comedian was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart.
