New Delhi: Christmas is being widely celebrated across the country with much fervour amidst the Covid-19 scare.
Midnight mass was held at several churches in Goa, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Puducherry, West Bengal, Karnataka following COVID protocols.
The festival is celebrated every year on December 25 to mark the birth of Jesus Christ across the globe. It is commemorated by the Christian community and others across the globe by singing carols and exchanging gifts, as the festival aims to spread the message of peace and prosperity.
On the occasion, celebs across the globe have exciting plans for this year’s Christmas. While some are looking forward for a simple family gathering in view of the pandemic, others have moved abroad to celebrate the birth of Christ on a different note.
