Nawazuddin Siddiqui, family under home quarantine after reaching Muzaffarnagar from Mumbai

New Delhi: Reportedly, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family have been quarantined for 14 days in his house in Budhana in Muzaffarnagar district. They recently traveled to their hometown in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai amid the nationwide lockdown.

The actor and his family underwent medical screening and have tested negative for Coronavirus. But, as per government guidelines and procedure, they have all been placed under home quarantine.

Nawazuddin had reached his ancestral place on May 11 to celebrate Eid after taking a travel pass. His mother, brother and sister-in-law also made the journey with him in his private vehicle. Kushalpal Singh, Station House Officer (SHO), Budhana police circle, said that the health officials had visited the home of the actor and ordered a 14-day quarantine for them.
