New Delhi: The versatile villain in the Indian film industry, actor Prakash Raj gets married for the second time in the presence of his young son, but there’s a catch.
Raj who rose to stardum with his roles in films like Wanted, Singham and Anniyan, celebrated 11 years of togetherness with his wife Pony Verma in a unique way. He got married to his wife Pony Verma as his son Vedant wanted to witness his parents marriage.
The actor took to Twitter and shared adorable pictures from the celebrations with caption, “We got married again tonight…because our son #vedhant wanted to witness it.”

Prakash was seen down on one knee as he exchanged rings with Pony. The duo could also be seen kissing after exchanging the rings.
His daughters, Meghana and Pooja, from his first marriage with Lalitha Kumari, were also present during the ceremony. Prakash got divorce from Lalitha in 2009.
Earlier on August 24, Prakash Raj took to Twitter to share a throwback photo of his wedding ceremony with Pony, both looking into each other’s eyes.
Sharing the photo, he wrote, ““It turned out so right.. for strangers in the night” .. thank you my darling wife .. for being a wonderful friend.. a lover and a great co traveller in our life together.. #happyweddinganniversary @PonyPrakashraj .”

On the work front, Prakash was last seen in Edhiri, one of films in the anthology series Navarasa, premiered on Netflix. He is now acting in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
