One of the leading cinema chains PVR took on Twitter to announce that the film has completed one lakh advance bookings. PVR Cinemas wrote, “Were you Lucky enough to grab your tickets to #Brahmastra? With over 1,00,000 tickets sold so far, the Astraverse is truly set to be an epic fantasy that breaks the barriers of film-making!”

On September 3, just one day after the advance bookings began, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and revealed that the film has already sold over 10,000 tickets. The film is touching numbers that no one anticipated. The boycott trend has affected many big-budget films at the box office and ‘Brahmastra’ was also one of its targets for various reasons. Recently, when an old video of Ranbir talking about enjoying beef went viral, #BoycottBrahmastra and #BoycottBollywood were trending on social media.
