From movies like “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” to “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” Karan has always portrayed romance in a captivating way, as seen in his films. Recently, the popular filmmaker expressed his fascination with the topic of infidelity, stating that it intrigues him. It’s worth mentioning that Karan directed the movie “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” in 2006, which addressed the issue of infidelity and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, and Abhishek Bachchan.

In a recent interview with Prabal Gurung, Karan talked about his strong interest in infidelity, saying that he is “obsessed” with it. He also shared the reaction he received when he made a movie on this topic. Karan mentioned that someone questioned him, asking why he supports infidelity. He replied by saying that you can’t endorse something that already exists and has a demand. Personally, he is always fascinated by the concept of infidelity and how it can be a part of real life.

Kjo on Dharmendra & Shabana Azmi’s Scene

During their conversation, KJo also shared a story about an incident that inspired a sequence in the movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” involving Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. The story revolved around one of his married family members who suffered from dementia. This family member started mentioning a name that created quite a scandal. Eventually, it was revealed that he was actually having an affair, resulting in a lot of drama. Karan’s father and mother had to travel to deal with the situation. Surprisingly, instead of feeling upset, Karan found the whole situation fascinating, considering that all this was happening among people in their early 80s.

Karan Johar made a successful comeback to the film industry with his movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” The film had a star-studded cast including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Along with his professional achievements, Karan is also planning to launch Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, in a promising debut film called “Sarzameen.” The movie will be produced under Karan’s banner, Dharma Productions, and directed by Kayoze Irani, the son of actor Boman Irani.
