New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer’Rocky Aur Raani Kii Prem Khaani’ has hit the theaters today i.e. 28 July 2023 (Friday). The film is a melodramatic family movie directed by Karan Johar. The film is set on family values, emotions, love, and heartbreak with dramatic sequences and flashy costumes like a typical masala film. As we know this is the directorial return of Karan Johar after ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, the excitement and perceptibility were in the air. Finally, the wait was over and the film came crashing down as a never-ending saga of romance and preachy lessons. The film did a good opening with a decent amount of collection as of now.
The plot of the film revolves around the love story of Rocky aka Ranveer Singh and Raani aka Alia Bhatt and the hurdles faced by them due to their contrasting families. In the film, Rocky hails from a Punjabi family whereas Rani comes from a typical Bengali family. The film begins with a smashing entry of Rocky Randhawa in a plot set against the backdrop of a Punjabi of the Year contest whereas Raani is introduced as an intellectual girl schooling a politician on increasing rape cases. The story is set in such a way that viewers get to know that there are two very contrasting families.
