RRR movie stopped midway in US theatre! Here’s what happened

‘RRR’ is a fictional story inspired by Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR

New Delhi: Keeping in view of the hype regarding Rajamouli’s directorial ‘RRR’, the theatres in the country are anticipated.

A cinema hall in Srikakulam has put up barbed wires and fences around the screen to prevent the audience from getting too close to it, while a theatre in Vijaywada has placed nail fencing near the screen to protect it.

So is the craze of the star-studded film in India and around the world, that RRR has earned Rs 257 crores in just one day.

Meanwhile, a spooky incident from the United States has came into light, 3 hours and 1-minute long film was stopped midway at a theatre.

Here’s what happened: 

The audiences were left shocked when the movie was never resumed post the interval, while fans were eagerly waiting to watch the rest of the film too.

Critic Anupama Chopra wrote that everyone, including her, was frustrated after the screening stopped.

Chopra took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “First time this has happened! Went to @Cinemark North Hollywood #firstdayfirstshow of #RRR. Saw first half but not second because theatre had not ingested it. Manager said they didn’t receive instructions that there was more. Unbelievably frustrating! #Wanttoweep (sic).”

However, the action-packed period drama is doing expectedly amazing on the box office. As per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, film’s total first day earning stands at Rs 257.15 crore.
