New Delhi: Seema Khan, the star of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives and a fashion designer, has changed her name on social media. She returned to her maiden name, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, after dropping the ‘Khan’ from her name. This comes only days after she was pictured with her husband, actor and producer Sohail Khan, at Mumbai’s family court. The two were reportedly there to file for divorce.
“Living life in the moment fully filter free!” Seema’s Instagram bio currently reads. She also posted an Instagram Story about trust on Friday.
In 1998, Sohail and Seema met on set of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. The couple later married after eloping. After nearly 24 years of marriage, they are divorcing. Nirvaan and Yohan, their two sons, are their children.
While the cause for their split has not been revealed, Seema and Sohail were allegedly pleasant during their most recent court appearance. The two were seen leaving the building individually.
Seema made an appearance in Netflix’s reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Seema and Sohail live in separate houses, as revealed in the first season. When asked about their relationship, Seema remarked, “Sohail and I are not married in the traditional sense, but we are a family. We work as a team. At the end of the day, it’s about him, myself, and our kids.” She also agreed that a happy family unit can meander and part ways while yet remaining together.
