New Delhi: Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade, currently hospitalized after suffering heart attack, had a scary moment on Thursday as his cardiac function almost stopped for 10 minutes, a leading daily reported quoting fellow actor Bobby Deol.
Bobby Deol is Shreays Talpade’s co-actor in the movie, a sequel to 2007-popular movie Welcome.
“I spoke to his wife. She was very upset. She told me that his heart stopped for almost 10 minutes,” Bobby Deol told the press.
Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack during the filming of movie ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ on Thursday and was subsequently admitted to hospital. He underwent an angioplasty.
Earlier, Talpade’s wife Deepti Talpade told the mediapersons that the actor had gone angioplasty on Thursday and was currently recuperating. She informed that the actor will be discharged after a couple of days and also exhorted his fans to keep him in their prayers.
Taking to her social media handle, Deepti Shreyas Talpade thanked the actor’s fans & well-wishers for their concern & wishes.
“I’m relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days,” she said.
The actor is being visited by close family & relatives at the hospital. According to reports, his co-actor Akshay Kumar also visited him in the hospital on Friday morning. The two stars had earlier worked together in a 2012 movie ‘Housefull 2’.
Shreyas Talpade is a popular actor, both in the Hindi film industry as well as Marathi cinema. Some of his notable films are Welcome to Sajjanpur, Om Shanti Om, Iqbal and Rohit Shetty’s directorial Golmaal again. His comedy acts have been widely admired & adored by the audience.
