New Delhi: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s writer Abhishek Makwana died by suicide. He was 37.

Abhishek’s family has alleged that he was a victim of cyber fraud and blackmail. They also claimed they have been receiving calls from the fraudsters after his demise, demanding money.

The Charkop police recorded the statements of the family, wherein his brother, Jenis revealed that Abhishek’s email records show financial fraud, as per reports in TimesOfIndia.
