New Delhi: Sad news has struck the movie industry again. Indra Kumar, a young Tamil actor has died by suicide at a friend’s residence. The actor passed away on February 19 in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu.
According to reports, the TV actor hanged himself at his friend’s residence.
According to IndiaGlitz, the South actor, known for his role in many Tamil daily soaps, reportedly went for a movie with his friends on Thursday night, the next day he was foud hanging.
Indra Kumar was found hanging from the ceiling. Police rushed to the spot and sent his body for post-mortem. He was a Sri Lankan Tamil and stayed at a refugee camp in Chennai. He was just 25 year-old.
2nd suicide in film industry in a week
This is the second news of committing suicide from the film industry in a week’s time. Just days back, actor Sandeep Nahar who worked in movies like Kesari and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai. He also shared a video and a post on social media where he expressed his disappointment with life and Bollywood, apparently the reason that drove him to take this step.

Indra Kumar survived by wife and child
The reason behind Indrakumar taking such a drastic step is still unknown. As of now the cops have seized his mortal remains and sent them for postmortem. For the unversed, he was a Sri Lankan refugee and was a part of a Tamil serial. He leaves behind his wife and child. If media reports are to be believed, Indrakumar was facing struggles in finding better opportunities.
