New Delhi: The freshly released Toofan successfully maintained a hype throughout its release time. The film which was supposed to be released in theatres has finally been released on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video due to the ongoing pandemic.
People already had Toofan in their watchlists as the duo Farhan Akhtar and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra is collaborating for the second time together after the blockbuster hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. This sports drama by Omprakash Mehra revolves around the life of a street fighter ‘Azzu Bhai’ from Dongri to becoming a national level boxer.
The movie however received mixed reviews from the netizens where some called it an inspiration film while others found it to be quite cliché and predictable.

Though the initial reactions to the film aren’t alike 2013 released Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, yet netizens were all in for the Farhan Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur’s fresh chemistry.The rest of the cast including Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur, Dr Mohan Agashe, Darshan Kumar, and Hussain Dalal were also very much appreciated.

#Toofan has a predictable story and clichéd narration with uninspiring music. Farhan Akhtar is a beast when it comes to his physique and performance, does his job pretty well alongside Paresh Rawal. The film just lacks a punch in its writing. Average!

The only good thing about #Toofan is that it ends finally after slogging through its cliche ,predictable and boring plot . There are moments where it tried to be a good film , @FarOutAkhtar is on prown again but poor editing , second half spoiled it..
