New Delhi: Hours after actor couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal lodged an FIR against an unknown individual for giving them death threats on social media, the Mumbai Police arrested an accused on Monday.
The duo had registered their complaint in the matter at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station this morning only.
The accused is reportedly a struggling actor and has been identified as Manvinder Singh. He is also said to be a huge fan of Katrina Kaif and even wanted to marry her.
After Katrina Kaif’s wedding in December last year, Singh was using edited pictures and video clips of himself with the actress on Instagram to trouble her. Singh was constantly giving threats to Kaif for the past several months.

The Santacruz Police had launched a probe in the matter after filing a complaint against an unidentified man earlier on Monday morning.
The police sources revealed that Katrina’s husband Vicky Kaushal had visited the Santacruz Police Station on Monday to file an FIR against the accused. Kaushal told the police that the man has been stalking and threatening Kaif on social media for past several months.
For the unversed, Kat and Vicky had tied knot last year on December 9 in a royal wedding in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur.
