New Delhi: This year’s FIFA World Cup saw a good attendance of Bollywood stars. From Nora Fatehi performing at the closing ceremony to Deepika Padukone unveiling the FIFA World Cup 2022, the largest contest of football remained a star-studded event.
Actor Ranvir Singh had his own ‘proud husband’ moments at the FIFA final. He accompanied Deepika to Qatar and shared many cute pics and videos as he was unable to contain his excitement.

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to express his pride as the Pathaan actress got into the arena to unveil the trophy. Later he posted a picture of him embracing Deepika with the caption,” Real trophy is in my hand.”
Same pinch Ranveer! We are feeling just as much proud for Deepika becoming the first ever global entertainment star ever to unveil the trophy of the FIFA World Cup.
The couple watched the gripping final match between Argentina and France together. Ranvir posted videos of the two hugging each other with a suspenseful expression during penalty kicks.
Ranveer Singh looked casual in a Mario green cap and matching red pantsuit. Deepika wore an all-black coat with bold red lipstick. While unveiling the trophy, Deepika wore a buff brown jacket over a white shirt. For bottoms, she sported a black tulle skirt along with high-heeled boots. She entered the Lusail stadium locking hands with former Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
Ranveer Singh also met and posed with various football stars backstage. He shared a funny short clip doing a waddle dance step with Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi. He also posed with Italy’s Alessandro Del Piero. Ranveer called him ‘one of his favorite players.’
