Businesses will also be using this feature to make advertisements to promote their business on other meta platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

Notably, up until this update, neither WhatsApp nor WhatsApp Business allows its users to view status updates after a span of 24 hours.

It is important to mention that the “Status Archive” feature will be only limited to WhatsApp business users and regular WhatsApp messenger users won’t be able to access any status updates that are archived.
