Sidharth Shukla, the winner of Big Boss 13 and Khatron Ke Khiladi passed away due to cardiac arrest on September 2. He was 40 years old. The actor rose to fame on television after featuring in ‘Balika Vadhu’ for three years. He received several acclamation and awards. Soon, he was also cast as a co-star in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.’

Surekha Sikri

The veteran actress passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 15 on July 16. She was Sangeet Natak Akademi Award winner and alumnus of the National School of Drama. Surekha featured in several TV shows such as ‘Balika Vadhu’, ‘Tamas,’ ‘Kirdaar, and ‘Just Mohabbat.’ Besides, the National Award-winning actress was also a part of theatre, film and was well known for the film ‘Badhaai Ho’.

Nayak won recognition for his character ‘Nattu Kaka’ in the TV show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’ The actor died due to cancer on October 3. He was 77 years old. He was a Gujarat and Hindi actor and featured in over 100 movies. Besides, he appeared in over 350 TV shows. Some of his popular shows were ‘Khichdi’ and ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.’

Anupam Shyam

Veteran actor, Anupam Shyam was best known for his role as ‘Thakur Sajjan Singh’ in the TV show ‘Mann Kee Awaaz: Pratigya.’ The actor died due to multiple organ failure on August 2. His performance was widely appreciated in films like ‘Bandit Queen’ and ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ He also appeared in films like ‘Satya,’ ‘Lagaan,’ ‘Dil Se,’ and ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.’

Arvind Trivedi

At the age of 82, the veteran actor passed away due to a heart attack. He was popular for his role of ‘Ravan’ in Ramanand Sagar’s 1987 superhit Television series ‘Ramayan.’ He also appeared in shows like ‘Vikram Aur Betaal.’ He appeared in over 300 Hindi and Gujarati films.
