New Delhi: Marking eight years of NDA government at centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday released the eleventh instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) from an event in Shimla. Under the flagship scheme, a whopping amount of Rs 20,000 crore will be disbursed in account of more than 10 crore farmers’ families.
Under the scheme launched in 2019, the government provides Rs 6,000 yearly allowance to farmers. Over the year, the scheme has benefitted crores of farmers.
Here’s how to check if amount credited into account
Step 1 – Visit the website – pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2 – Go to Farmers Corner section at the home page, select Beneficiary Status
Step 3 – Enter the required details i.e. Aadhaar number/bank account number
Step 4 – Click on the option ‘Get Data’
Step 5 – Status of the instalment will be displayed
The step to access your balance under PM KISAN scheme is easy & flawless, however, all need to ensure that the accounts are eKYC complaint.
The 10th instalment of PM KISAN was transferred to account of farmers on Jan 1, 2022.
About PM KISAN scheme
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a flagship scheme of the Modi government, aimed at providing monetary assistance to all farmer families in the country to help them meet their agricultural & financial needs. Under the scheme, Rs 6,000 is transferred annually and is paid in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each.
Steps to check if you are registered as beneficiary in PM KISAN
Step 1 – Visit the website – https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2 – In corner of the page, click on the tab ‘Beneficiary list’
Step 3 – See for the options in drop down, select state/district/block/village
Step 4 – Click on ‘Get report’ option
Step 5 – List of beneficiaries appear, you can check your name in it
