As Sidhu-Captain tussle continues, Prashant Kishor meets Rahul Gandhi in Delhi

New Delhi: As the Congress infighting in Punjab continues to create flutter in political circles, poll strategist Prashant Kishor on Tuesday met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi.

Last week, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met Kishor at his official residence in Delhi.

Kishor recently tied up with Mamata Banerjee-led TMC and helped her party to return to power for 3rd term in West Bengal.

In 2017, Prashant Kishor had engineered Congress party’s political campaign to contest UP assembly elections. His strategy to make Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to make Congress face didn’t materialize. Congress got a meagre 6.3% vote share and was left behind at 4 position. However, the poll strategist refrained from making comments on the shortcomings of election strategy.
