Anand Uttam, ADJ of Dhanabad, dies after being hit by an auto-rickshaw; Nitizens call it ‘Murder’ (Video)
It is said that ADJ Uttam Anand was out for his morning walk when a vehicle crushed him near the Magistrate Colony in Dhanbad. He succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to a nearby hospital.
New Delhi; Anand Uttam, an Additional District Judge (ADJ) of Dhanabad district was killed after being hit by an auto-rickshaw on Wednesday.
According to reports, the incident took place at Randhir Verma Chowk near Dhanbad district court under Sadar police station area.
It is said that ADJ Uttam Anand was out for his morning walk when a vehicle crushed him near the Magistrate Colony in Dhanbad. He succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, no arrest have been made yet.
“Around 5 am, a vehicle hit him (Uttam Anand) from the rear and fled. The vehicle that hit him is yet to be identified. An auto-rickshaw was found to be involved from the CCTV footage of the area. The police are probing the incident and the offending vehicle would be nabbed soon,” PTI reported Sanjiv Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) as saying.
However, a CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, people on social media says its a well planned murder.
