Andhra Pradesh: Zomato boy becomes software engineer; clears all family debt in few month’s salaries 

The delivery boy decided to learn the coding and enroll himself in a coding course upon the advice of a friend.

New Delhi: In Andhra Pradesh, a young man proves the phrase right that success comes to those who work for it. The young man, Shaik Abdul Sather worked for several food delivery apps such as Zomato and Swiggy from the evening to till midnight. In the new job, he also managed to pay all his parents’ debt with the help of a few months’ salaries.

Delivery boy job helped to learn many things

Shaik Abdul Sather shared his story on a job search platform, Linkedin. Ever since the post went viral, receiving a lot of positive replies and reactions. According to Sather’s post, he started working as a delivery agent to provide financial support to his family in firms like Zomato, Swiggey, and Ola.

”Ola, Swiggy, Uber, Rapido, Zoamto…I was everywhere since my final year of college.”

However, he decided to learn the coding and enroll himself in a coding course upon the advice of a friend. He used to do the job from 6 PM to 12 AM.

Cleared all family debt in months’  salaries

On the family front, Shaik said, ”I decided to work as a delivery boy to contribute financially as soon as I can. My father is a contract worker and we had just enough money to get by. After I started working as a delivery boy, it helped me to reduce my shyness.”

After learning the coding skills, he cracked the interview at Probe Information Services Pvt Ltd (Probe42) to join as a software engineer.

The new job strengthens Shaik’s income to clear all his parents’ debt with the help of few months’ salaries.
