New Delhi: As Sachin and Seema’s controversial love story continues to be the talk of the town, a similar kind of love story emerged from across the border after an Indian woman crossed the border to meet her Pakistani lover.
The Rajasthani woman, identified as 35-year-old Anju, left her husband and children behind to travel to Pakistan on a 1-month visa where she united with her Facebook lover Nasrullah by tying the Knot with him in the presence of his family, police officials and lawyers on Tuesday.

The Deputy Inspector General of Pakistan’s Malakand Division Nasir Mehmood Satti confirmed the news of Anju’s marriage to her 29-year-old lover Nasrullah and informed that the marriage was solemnised after Anju accepted Islam and willingly signed the Nikahnama at a district court.
Nasir also revealed that post her marriage, Anju has changed her name to Fatima. After the commencement of her marriage, she was shifted to Nasrulla’s house under heavy security.

Meanwhile, the viral couple recently dropped a video in which they were seen having the time of their life as they walked hand in hand while exploring northern Pakistan’s, Lawari tunnel, valleys and mountain ranges.

Anju’s Husband’s take
Earlier, speaking of his runaway wife, Anju’s husband Arvind told ANI that Anju use to reside with him along with his two children (a 16-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son) and before leaving her residential home, she informed him that she is going visiting one of her friends in Jaipur. However, she soon dialled him and told him that she is in Lahore. “I can’t understand how she managed to get her visa approved” He added further.
Arvind even revealed that, unlike Seema Haider, Anju had all the necessary documents with her and has legally entered Pakistan.
Later, in a conversation with ANI, investigating officer ACP Sujit Shankar spoke about the case and told that prima facie, the case looks like a matter of an extramarital love affair and nothing material can be said regarding the same as of now.
He further said that the current investigation has revealed that Anju was in touch with this Pakistani guy Nasrullah with whom, she used to chat on a daily basis over social media apps. “Anju entered Pakistan through Atari border on or around 21 July” He added in his statement.
Who is Anju?
Anju, who was born in UP’s small town kailor was a resident of Rajisthan’s Bhiwadi where she use to work as a data entry operator in a private company. Her family consisted of her husband Arvind and two children with whom, she use to live in a rented home.
A day Prior to Anju’s marriage to her medical professional husband Nasrullah, Dir District’s police officer Mushtaq Khan already confirmed the news of her arrival in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where Nasrullah’s home is situated.
Mushtaq, in his official statement released on Monday, told that Anju has entered Pakistan on a month-long medium-term visa and is carrying all required legal documents with her.

Interestingly, Anju previously dropped a video soon after reaching Pakistan in which she told that she is just there for explorations purpose and will return soon.
In the two-minute-long video, the data entry operator told that she has legally visited Pakistan and will be coming back to India in 2 to 3 days. By the end of her video, she also requests the media and authorities not to cause any inconvenience to her children and relatives.
However, after her recent marriage with her Pakistani lover, the chances of Anju coming back to her husband appear extremely slim.
