At poll rally, Kejriwal boasts of 10 lakh jobs in Delhi, RTI ‘punctures’ claim; 440 jobs since 2015

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal claims of providing 10 lakh jobs & employment opportunities in Delhi in last few years, got a big jolt today, with Right to Information (RTI) findings setting records straight.

New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal claims of providing 10 lakh jobs & employment opportunities in Delhi in last few years, got a big jolt today, with Right to Information (RTI) findings setting records straight. The RTI report (dated 06/04/2021) shared by the Congress party reveals that Delhi government provided only 440 jobs since its assumed power in 2015, for first time.

Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is boasting of pro-development agenda and counting on its achievements in education & health sectors, especially in the poll-bound states of Punjab & UP.

At an election rally in Uttar Pradesh today, Kejriwal announced loudly to cheering crowd that Delhi govt created 10 lakh jobs in last few years and also said that all these details are updated on government portal. \

The AAP chief patted his back for ‘ideal governance’ while berated Yogi government for ‘gross mismanagement’.


“Uttar Pradesh has a big budget of Rs 5 lakh crore. But, Yogi govt did nothing… no jobs, no university/college, no health infrastructure including hospitals & dispensary in 5 years. Where did all this money go?” Kejriwal asked.
440 jobs created in Delhi in 7 years, finds RTI

Replying to Kejriwal’s tall claims, the Congress party shared a RTI finding of last year, which revealed the number of jobs created by Delhi government since 2015.

In reply to RTI activist, the Delhi Govt Employment Directorate (in reply on 6th April, 2021) has given break up of how many job aspirants got regular employment. Maximum 176 jobs were created in 2015 while 2020 recorded lowest recruitment at just 28.

 


Sharing the RTI findings, Congress also hit out at Kejriwal dispensation and accused it of pedalling lies and befooling people to win their vote.

Kejriwal taunts Modi, Rahul over ‘terror links’

At the election rally, AAP chief also mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Rahul Gandhi for their terror insinuation on him.
“Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi, all are saying that I am terrorist. Do I look like a terrorist?,” Kejriwal asked the gathering.


Days ago, Kejriwal, taking a jibe at his rivals, told media that he was the sweet terrorist who opened schools, inaugurated hospitals & did all kinds of productive works.
