Today, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani reached the poll-bound state to mobilise BJP workers and supporters for the face-off.
Smriti Irani on Friday took out a bike rally in West Bengal’s Sonarpur while campaigning for the upcoming assembly polls. Irani was seen riding the scooty seamlessly in a saree.
This came a day after West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee rode pillion an electric scooter to state secretariat Nabanna in protest against escalating fuel prices.
Mamata Banerjee was seen sitting behind Bengal minister Firhad Hakim, who rode the battery-powered electric scooter.
