Bengal elections: A day after Mamata, BJP leader Smriti Irani rides a scooter (PICs)

After Mamata’s scooty pillion ride, Smriti Irani on Friday took out a bike rally in West Bengal’s Sonarpur while campaigning for the upcoming assembly polls. Irani was seen riding the scooty seamlessly in a saree.

New Delhi: Out of all the Assembly elections in 5 states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, West Bengal and Puducherry, the TMC-ruled state is set to be hotly contested state.

Electioneering is already going on a high-pitch and now the theatrics have also taken over Bengal polls.

Yesterday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee rode pillion on a scooter in protest against fuel price hike.

Today, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani reached the poll-bound state to mobilise BJP workers and supporters for the face-off.

Smriti Irani on Friday took out a bike rally in West Bengal’s Sonarpur while campaigning for the upcoming assembly polls. Irani was seen riding the scooty seamlessly in a saree.

This came a day after West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee rode pillion an electric scooter to state secretariat Nabanna in protest against escalating fuel prices.
