New Delhi: Just ahead of the Assembly Elections, a big setback awaits the ruling party Janata Dal (United) in Bihar. Reports suggest that Shyam Rajak, Industry Minister in Nitish cabinet is likely to jump ship to rival party RJD.
Shayam Rajak may snap ties with the party soon, reports said as he feels ‘ignored and sidelined’ within the party. The minister raised his concerns before party supremo Nitish Kumar but as his suggestions were not paid heed, the minister has decided to call it quits.
The senior leader is taking suggestions from other leaders of his constituency. It is expected that he may address a press conference on Monday to announce his resignation, reports suggest.
Though he lost the bye-election, he was appointed as an MLA in 2010. However, in 2015, Nitish Kumar had re-appointed him as minister in an alliance with the BJP.
