Bihar Elections: BJP announces 1st list of 27 candidates, shooter Shreyasi Singh fielded from Jamui

Bihar elections will be held in 3 phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7 while counting will be taken up on November 10.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday declared the first list of candidates for upcoming Bihar Assembly elections 2020. In the first list, a total of 27 candidates have found place.

The announcement was made shortly after the BJP addressed a joint press conference with JD(U) in which both have agreed to contest on equal number of seats

 

Shreyasi Singh, who recently joined the BJP is among the first big names to announced for polls. She is being fielded from Jamui, a crucial seat currently held by RJD’s Vijay Prakash.

Bihar elections will be held in 3 phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7 while counting will be taken up on November 10. It is the first state, where elections are being held in the backdrop of Covid-19 cases.
