Bihar Poll of Exit Polls: Tejashwi-led Mahagathbandhan shines, NDA seen losing power

New Delhi:The Mahagathbandhan coalition led by Tejashwi Yadav is set to reach half-way mark while the incumbent NDA led by Nitish Yadav is seen getting restricted closer to 100 seats, Poll of Exit polls said.

As per most of the exit polls, Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan is expected to outshine Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) while Chirag Paswan’s election ploy in eleventh hour dented latter’s vote bank.

According to Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat, grand alliance is expected to garner 118 to 138 seats while ruling NDA is seen getting restricted to 91-117 seats. Chirag Paswan’s party is likely to win five to eight seats, it says.

TV9-Bharatvarsh gives the Tejashwi Yadav-led alliance 120 seats and 115 seats to the NDA. The LJP could win four, it says.

An India Today-Axis poll, Tejashwi Yadav enjoys 44% approval ratings as preferred chief minister while Nitish Kumar came distant second with 35%.
