BJP’s hat-trick is ‘guarantee of public trust’ in ‘Modi’s guarantee’: CM Yogi

Rajasthan seems to have followed the over three-decade-old trend of rotating governments and the Congress government led by Ashok Gehlot appears to be on its way out.

Lucknow: As the Bharatiya Janata Party gets closer to victory in three state assembly elections where counting is ongoing, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scoring a hat-trick which reflects the guarantee of people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee.

“Under the leadership and guidance of respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, BJP getting a hat-trick in the election results of four states with huge majority in three states. This is a ‘guarantee of public trust’ on ‘Modi’s guarantee’,” the Chief Minister said in a post on ‘X’ as the counting of votes of the four state assembly elections is in the final stages.

Congratulating the BJP workers on this achievement, Yogi said, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the dedicated workers and respected voters of Bharatiya Janata Party.”

The BJP is on its way to creating a record in Madhya Pradesh and its expected coming to power again after having ruled the state for 18 of the past 20 years is an apparent indication of the party’s organizational hold in the state as well as popularity of its schemes and leadership.

Rajasthan seems to have followed the over three-decade-old trend of rotating governments and the Congress government led by Ashok Gehlot appears to be on its way out.

BJP has bounced back strongly in Chhattisgarh where the ruling Congress was supposed to have done well. A strong, sustained and aggressive campaign and its matching Congress in poll promises seem to work for the BJP.

The counting of votes in the four states, which went to the polls last month, started at 8 am on Sunday.
