Burglars pen down a note of taunt after robbing govt official’s resident in Madhya Pradesh

After robbing the house of a government official, the robbers penned down a note of taunt for him.

The government official’s residence in Madhya Pradesh was broken into by thieves and several valuables were stolen. But what left the police and concerned authorities confused it a note left by the robbers.

Reportedly, the robbers broke into the senior official’s house and stole his belongings. In the meanwhile, they left a note of taunting for him inside the house. 

The note has been going around in social media for quite a time. It read, “Jab paise nahi they toh lock nahi karna tha na collector (If there wasn’t any money in the house, you shouldn’t have locked it, collector).”

The incident happened at the official residence of Trilochan Gaur situated in the civil lanes of Dewas. According to reports, the house is located in between the bungalows of a lawmaker and Dewas Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pradeep Soni.

Reportedly, Gaur was not in the house for the last 15-20 days. On his return, he found the door locks to be broken and his belonging lying around on the floor. Besides, the house is located 100 meters away from the residence of the Superintendent of Police.

The robbers are said to have stolen Rs 30,000 cash and some jewellery from Gaur’s residence, said Umrao Singh, the Kotwali police station in charge.

“Rs 30,000 in cash and some jewellery was stolen from the government residence of Trilochan Gaur, who is currently posted as the SDM of Khategaon. The exact time of the incident is not known yet,” said Umrao Singh.

Sources report that the note of taunt was written on the official’s notepad. An incident was launched and an FIR was registered against the unidentified persons by the police.

Currently, Gaur is posted as a sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) at Khategaon town in the district.
