Buses for UP migrants: Cong MLA Aditi Singh takes a jibe at her own party

New Delhi: In a major embarrassment for Congress party, its own MLA from Rae Bareli Aditi Singh questioned it for creating a farce over its ‘list of buses’ to UP government for transporting the migrant workers.

Aditi took to Twitter and slammed the Congress party for stooping to low level of politics when the nation is facing a calamity. She hit out at the party leaders for making a mockery of the pain and agony of migrants.

आपदा के वक्त ऐसी निम्न सियासत की क्या जरूरत,एक हजार बसों की सूची भेजी, उसमें भी आधी से ज्यादा बसों का फर्जीवाड़ा, 297 कबाड़ बसें, 98 आटो रिक्शा व एबुंलेंस जैसी गाड़ियां, 68 वाहन बिना कागजात के, ये कैसा क्रूर मजाक है, अगर बसें थीं तो राजस्थान,पंजाब, महाराष्ट्र में क्यूं नहीं लगाई।

“In the list of 1,000 buses furnished to UP government, 297 buses were redundant, 98 were either auto or ambulance and 68 buses were without relevant documents. Why this fraud and cruel joke with the migrants?”, she asked.

She further asked why Congress didn’t deploy buses in its own ruled states like Punjab, Maharashtra and Rajasthan for ferrying migrant workers back home.

She even heaped praise on UP CM Yogi Adityanath for his forthcoming step in ferrying the stranded students in Rajasthan.

कोटा में जब UP के हजारों बच्चे फंसे थे तब कहां थीं ये तथाकथित बसें, तब कांग्रेस सरकार इन बच्चों को घर तक तो छोड़िए,बार्डर तक ना छोड़ पाई,तब श्री @myogiadityanath जी ने रातों रात बसें लगाकर इन बच्चों को घर पहुंचाया, खुद राजस्थान के सीएम ने भी इसकी तारीफ की थी।

Congress MLA further reveals that when UP students were stranded in Rajasthan, Gehlot government failed to make any arrangements for their transportation. It was the Yogi government, which swung into action, deployed buses in the state and ferried them back home.

This was even appreciated by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, says Aditi Singh.
